Horrible place to be. Please dont allow your family to stay their. CNAS are young and rude, they take forever to come to you and tell you to do things yourself..Go to Heights of summerlin,way better!

ONE ONE TERRIBLE! where do i begin to start… They are always understaffed resulting into temp staff coming in and taking over. By far the worst place i’ve been to i’ve been hospitalized 2 times and sent to rehabilitation.Everything is outdated. The whole building has a smell that they’ve been trying to cover up with air fresheners. golly and it seems like they’re housing homeless people. Good grief , the care provided is okay but definitely should be looked into by state

This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. My father came here from the hospital for exactly 4 days of rehab before he was rushed back to the hospital because of the incompetence of the nursing staff here. My father is 78, non ambulatory, dementia with 2 neuphrostomy bags and a peg tube for his nutrition. He was severely neglected and possibly abused by staff. Family would go in every single day and find something wrong every time. They did not follow his care plan that his specialists sent over with him from the hospital. When he came to the rehab, he was stable and doing good. Within 4 days they almost killed him. He was covered in urine, his whole bed was soaked and he was left to lay there for hours and was crying when family came in and found him that way. His neuphrostomy bags were drained and left open laying in pee and filled up with blood, resulting if him getting a major infection again. He was supposed to have water bag hanging 24 hours a day for hydration and when taken to the hospital he was severely dehydrated because this was neglected. They did not give him his nutrition bag. He’s supposed to have it 20 hours a day, 4 hours off to help his stomach. So basically they were starving him. The staff took things away from him as punishment because he dropped his remote on the floor in his confusion. Because of the neglect by the nurses and the CNAs at this facility, my father is now going on hospice. Don’t send your loved ones here if you want them to have any quality of life. This place doesn’t care about anyone. These nurse made it clear to me that because they have 25 patients then everyone should understand that they can’t get to everyone. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

PLEASE DON’T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 1)They Came and Picked My Dad from Sunrise At 9p.m. ( RED FLAG) 2) I Followed them arrived and upon getting him situated in his Room , I was Disgusted NOT SURE IF IT WAS FECES OR WHAT (LEANING TOWARDS FECES) ON THE WALL I HAVE PICTURES. VERY UNSANITARY. 3) PATIENT’S HAVE TO SHARE BATHROOMS DIDN’T LOOK LIKE HOUSEKEEPING EVER CLEANED THE ROOMS/BATHROOMS. 4) FOOD LOOKED LIKE SLOP, JUST NOT UP TO STANDARDS. OTHER PATIENT’S YELLING IN THE HALLWAYS ALL TIMES OF NIGHT 5) MY DAD WAS SCHEDULED FOR DIALYSIS AT 8:45 A.M. SOME HOW THEY MISSED HIS APPOINTMENT. I HAD TO PHYSICALLY TAKE HIM MYSELF, ONLY TO BE HARRASSED BY A NIGHT NURSE THAT SPOKE TO YOU LIKE A CHILD AND PUT HER HANDS IN YOUR FACE, THAT PATIENT’S AREN’T TO BE RECIEVING OUTSIDE TRANSPORTATION, HIS DIALYSIS IS HIGHLY IMPARITIVE How Else was He Supposed To Go. 6) GOT HIM OUT OF THERE BECAUSE NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT MUCH INCOMPETENCE WHILE TRYING TO RECOVER. 7) SO EMPLOYEE ATTEMPED TO HAVE MY DAD SIGN SOME PAPERWORK. STATING IF HE WANTED TO SUE THEY WOULD SETTLE OUT OF COURT, I INFORMED MY DAD NOT TO SIGN ANYTHING AND TO REQUEST A COPY OF THE DOCUMENT ONLY FOR THE EMPLOYEE TO LEAVE THE ROOM WITH NO RETURN AND NO DOCUMENT. 8) I TOOK MY FATHER FROM THAT FACILITY A.M.A ( AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE) DUE TO THE INCOMPETENCE AND UNSANITARY CONDITIONS. 9) THE ONLY SOLICE WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY NURSE NAME ALAYSHA THAT SHOWED MY FATHER COMPASSION AND ASSISTED US AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD BEFORE DEPARTING.(SHE SHOULD BE THE CHARGE NURSE)

A great facility to take your loved ones to. If you want comfort and care this is the place to go. Nursing staff and CNAs and other facility members are the best team ever.

To any potential patients (or family/friends of prospective patients) considering coming here..Be warned that this place is a disgrace in every way. My step-father recently spent a few days here and the whole experience was nothing short of unbelievably disappointing and deplorable. The food was pathetic in quality and quantity. They never changed his clothes/gowns, never showered/bathed/cleaned him up or helped him with his hygiene needs properly. They failed to take him to his very important off-site specialist’s appointment – despite assuring family members on three separate occasions that he would be taken to the appointment to have medical devices removed from his veins. There were other unprofessional and unacceptable issues that occurred during his brief time here but I’m too angry to go into more details right now. Again, be warned about coming here at your own risk/peril.

Never go here! It was filthy, tray still dirty from prior guest, old dirty clothes & sheets left in closet. Extremely hot no ac on in the middle of summer! The so called nurses were worthless to help. Clients walking around or sitting in wheelchairs at 3am talking loud, yelling & being disruptive! Tv’s on so loud you could hear them from many rooms down. Horrible, terrible, unbelievable people would go there! No available walkers to help people walk. They are LOCKED UP AT NIGHT! If you cant help yourself here, youre screwed!

I can’t say enough great things about Desert Willow Post Acute! From the moment you walk in, you can tell that the staff genuinely cares about their residents. The team is welcoming, compassionate, and professional, and they go above and beyond to make sure residents feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for. The facility has a great atmosphere, and it’s clear that everyone—from nursing and therapy to activities, dietary, and administration—works together as a team. The level of care and attention to detail really stands out. If you or a loved one is looking for a skilled nursing facility in Las Vegas, I would definitely recommend Desert Willow Post Acute. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
