My non verbal father was there in room 226 he was well taken care of. Since he was non verbal he was frustrated and upset most days. He loved the weekends because his favorite employees worked night shift. He enjoyed the help and company of all the cnas but felt most grateful to Liz S. Cna she Always went above and beyond to meet his needs. Thank you to the entire staff!

I am so happy with this facility, I’m happy that my aunt has a good place to be. I wish my father and great aunt would of had a place like this before they left us. Unfortunately they both were admitted into different long term/rehab facilities (i won’t mention those facilities’ names) here in Las Vegas. I stop by at least twice a week, mostly on weekends and i always see the same caregiver working extra hard. Sometimes she’s the only staff member i see but that doesn’t mean that the care is minimized nor overlooked. I asked for her name and it turns out that she’s the caregiver my aunt has told me so much about. She’s so happy with her and says shes most comfortable when shes on shift. The caregivers name is Elizabeth Salgado, i am mostly posting this review as a way of me expressing my gratitude and appreciation for all she does for my aunt. I’ve noticed that she has a few patients that she cares for and shes on top of her duties. I’ve stopped by at different times and show up without notice and she’s always there with a smile, not just her but I’ve noticed that the patients she cares for all seem happier. I can’t speak for other patients in this facility that have other caregivers who don’t seem as happy but there is a difference in demeanor from those that aren’t in her care. Elizabeth is the type of caregiver i wish had the ability to multiply herself because truly loving your job and caring for others is something that cannot be taught in training, it comes from the heart.

I find this establishment to be highly satisfactory. The management is commendable, and the leadership is consistently supportive.

My dad received HORRIBLE lack of care at this facility. This place is not suitable for humans. I won’t say all, but most of the staff was not caring. Seems they are WAAAAAAY understaffed as well. Dad did not receive tube feedings or medications on schedule. See photos for the state of the rooms in which they put patients. I have more awful photos of my dad deteriorating but will not post due to privacy of my family. My dad died 17 days ago and we STILL do not have a signed death certificate from the doctor so that he can be cremated. 17 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the Walmart of Post Acute skilled nursing facilities. If you love 70s decor, you’ll be home. Call buttons are mostly ignored. PT staff is good, nurses/CNAs are mostly ok but they’re given about 18 to 1 ratio – hardly conducive to proper patient needs. Food is ok, sometimes really good. My wife has been stuck there 5 days. Waiting, waiting, and more waiting for CNAs to get to her. Ludicrous place to be trapped. Tomorrow morning I call Humana to put an end to this crap and get her home immediately…no matter the cost!

If you’re looking for a rehab facility that actually cares, Desert Willow Rehab is it. The staff is attentive, professional, and truly goes above and beyond. Clean environment, great communication, and overall a place you can trust.

I cannot speak any more positively about our experience with Desert Willow Post Acute. The staff was kind, attentive, and kept us informed every step of the way. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing our loved one was in good hands. So grateful for the care they provided.

Not impressed, my 91 year old mother has been there for a week and I’ve spoken to her twice. I’m 2000 miles away from LV. I call several times a day only to get busy signals, excuses, nurses too busy to accept my calls, full mail boxes and never returned calls. I wish I didn’t have to press star to leave a review. They don’t deserve a star. From the reviews I see there will be law suits in abundance.

I’ve been here 2 weeks it’s under new ownership from silver hills, hopefully they’ll fix me up and get me on my feet and get me back of my family into house and out of the hospital, I’m putting big hopes on them to get me back on my feet and make me their swan song for Google mapping/Desert Willow human/living advertisement to what they’re capable of. (Excited for future) By: Wendy Williams and the Williams family ‼️ from 🏤 Desert Willow Post acute recovery center THANK YOU

Is there a negative star??? Most awful care, food always cold and sits for hours in the hall, No communication from staff (We are out of state and only asked to be updated every few days) The Nurses station phone has been out of service (Rings until picks up saying box full) told by front desk, oh yeah we’ve been having trouble with our phones there….Ummm this is a care facility what about emergencies??? So disappointed with them. Run away as fast as you can!

Been here 3 days. First impression was not good. CNA’S and nurses were friendly . Staff at back entrance were NOT friendly. Have not been furnished walker after many requests. Have had knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago. No PT yet. Food is good sometimes but other times not so good. Think it must depend on cook The side of facility I am on needs renovating badly. Call buttons taking up to 2 to 3 hours to respond . The facility is dirty.

Changing the name from Silver Hills to Desert Willow doesn’t chance the fact this facility has incompetent doctors. My family member left that facility in critical condition and passed away.. DON’T USE THIS FACILITY
